Happy Memorial Day!

I am going to keep this short today. I am sure that everyone has someone in the family or knows of someone that has given their life for our country and our liberty.

My cousin’s daughter was killed in Iraq in 2005. She was in the Air Force, and she was the first female airman casualty in Iraq. You can read her story here.

So today, I would like to just pause and give thanks to all of our brave men and women of the armed forces and to remember those who gave all so that we may live in the land of the free and the home of the brave.
